Creamy Rice Pudding

I have found the rice pudding recipe that I will use the rest of my life. *sigh* If you like creamy rice pudding, this is definitely worth trying. I used up all the leftover rice from Chinese takeout the first time I tried it. YUM! Too bad I'm the only one in my house that will eat it...

You can find the recipe HERE from allrecipes. The only thing I added to the pudding was a teaspoon of cinnamon, because that's how I shake.

Monkey Bread

I loved making this as a kid, and find it a great project to do with my own kids now too.

Monkey Bread

2 tubes biscuits (the $.38 Aldi ones work fine)
1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick butter
1 tsp. water

In a large storage bag, mix the white sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut each biscuit into fourths. Shake a few pieces at a time in the bag and place in a greased Bundt pan.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter and remaining sugar mixture with 1 tsp. of water. Let it come to a boil, take off the heat and pour on the biscuits.

Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. Turn upside down onto serving platter immediately.
