This recipe left me speechless. I just couldn't get over the whole concept of using my slow cooker to bake! So, I tried it and found it to be way better than I expected. I turned to my trusty favorite blog and used this recipe
here. Although I loved the concept, I wasn't too crazy about the recipe itself. Next time I will just use my regular banana bread recipe.
The hardest part was finding a pan that would fit into my slow cooker.
It obviously cooked a little bit too long.
Not bad for my first attempt. I will definitely try it again soon and am happy to have another way to bake during those few hot days of summer. Oh, and I also got some chopsticks to vent the lid... no more using a pencil! LOL!
